1. Real-Money Wagering — Important Notice
Taya Chess (the "Platform") facilitates real-money wagering using Philippine Peso (PHP) funded via GCash. All balances, wagers, and payouts involve real currency. By using the Platform, you confirm you are of legal age (18+), that real-money chess wagering is lawful in your jurisdiction, and that you understand and accept the risks of wagering.
The Platform operates manual GCash cash-in and withdrawal review. The minimum cash-in is ₱20. Withdrawal amounts are reserved from the available wallet immediately; staff then marks the request sent or rejects it and refunds the reserved amount. Users are responsible for entering the correct GCash number.
A 5% platform service fee is deducted from the gross prize pool only when a paid match has a winner. Because wallets use whole pesos, the fee is rounded to the nearest peso with a ₱1 minimum. Drawn or abandoned matches that refund both stakes have no fee.
The Platform is not a licensed financial institution or gambling operator and does not guarantee regulatory compliance in all jurisdictions. Independent legal review before use is strongly advised.
2. Electronic Transactions (Republic Act No. 8792)
